## Discrepancy

DURING AERIAL APPLICATION OPERATIONS, NR 9 CYLINDER CONNECTING ROD FAILED AT MASTER ROD CONNECTION PIN.  SEVERE IMPACT DAMAGE TO ROD.  PISTON CONTACTED CYLINDER HEAD WHICH BROKE INTO 3 PIECES.  CAUSE OF FAILURE UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME.
