AIRCRAFT ACCIDENT IN WHICH PROPELLER SEPARATED FROM AIRCRAFT.  SUSPECT CAUSE:  RETAINING NUT FAILURE.  SUBMITTER RECOMMENDATION:  RETAINING NUT BE REPLACED AT SPECIFIC INTERVALS.  RETAINING NUT BE INSPECTED PRIOR TO EACH PROPELLER INSTALLATION.
