THE ALTERNATOR BECAME INOPERATIVE.  ON INSPECTION OF THE SYSTEM, FOUND THE ALTERNATOR DRIVE PULLEY ASSEMBLY SHAFT SHEARED.  THE CAUSE OF FAILURE UNKNOWN.
