## Discrepancy

AS TAKEOFF POWER WAS APPLIED, THE LEFT ENGINE WOULD NOT REACH TARGET EPR INDICATION.  CREW ABORTED TAKEOFF AND RETURNED TO THE GATE.  MAINTENANCE MEL'D EPR SYSTEM.  AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
