RETURNED TO LAX DUE TO VIBRATION UNDER AFT GALLEY.  *S/D*  POTABLE WATER SYSTEM ELECTRIC AIR COMPRESSOR FAILED.  COMPRESSOR WAS REPLACED AND AN OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS PERFORMED.  COMPRESSOR CHECKED OUT OK.
