WHILE MANEUVERING IN A FLAT SPIN, THE PILOT EXPERIENCED AN ENGINE OUT.  AN ATTEMPT TO RESTART COULD NOT BE MADE BECAUSE THE BENDIX FAILED TO RE-ENGAGE.
