WHILE IN NORMAL FLIGHT, EXHAUST VALVE FAILED CAUSING ENGINE TO SHUT DOWN.  AIRCRAFT WAS AUTOROTATED SAFELY TO THE GROUND WITHOUT FURTHER DAMAGE.
