LOST BOTH ALTERNATORS GOING INTO PORTLAND, MAINE.  FOUND LEFT ALTERNATOR SHORTED CAUSING RT ALTERNATOR TO KICK OFF-LINE.  REMOVED AND REPLACED LEFT ALTERNATOR.  OPS CHECKS GOOD.
