PROPELLER BLADE SEPARATED AT APPROXIMATELY 2 INCHES FROM BUTT.  AIRPLANE DAMAGE WAS SUBSTANTIAL.  PILOT MADE A SUCCESSFUL OFF-AIRPORT LANDING.  NTSB INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY.
