## Discrepancy

INSTALLED ALTERNATOR AND UNIT FAILED TO OPERATE. AFTER INSPECTION, CAUSE OF FAILURE WAS THE BRUSHES. DURING ASSEMBLY, SOMEONE HAD PUT SOME TYPE OF EPOXY ON BRUSHES TO HOLD THEM IN THE BRUSH HOLDER. THIS, IN EFFECT, KEPT THE BRUSHES FROM MAKING CONTACT.
