## Discrepancy

DURING ANNUAL INSPECTION, C/W FAR 91.207(D), MECHANIC NOTICED THAT ELT WAS VERY WEAK AND NOTICED AN ELECTRICAL SMELL. DIS-ASSEMBLY REVEALED VERY STRONG BURNT ELECTRICAL SMELL AND ELT WAS INOPERATIVE. SIHPPED ELT TO MANUFACTURER FOR REPAIR.
