NOSE GEAR SHIMMY DAMPENER ALSO ALIGNS NOSE SEAL ON RETRACTION:  UNIT SHAFT CIRCLIP FAILED ALLOWING SHAFT TO EXIT BODY AND JAMMED NOSE.  GEAR AT ANGLE TO CENTERLINE OF AIRCRAFT.  GROOVE FOR CIRCLIP DOES NOT APPEAR DEEP ENOUGH.
