## Discrepancy

MAGNETO FAILED IN-FLIGHT.  TROUBLESHOOTING REVEALED DISTRIBUTOR GEAR NOT TURNING.  PAPER SHIM NEXT TO COIL HAD MIGRATED TOWARD GEAR AND CAUSED CATASTROPHIC FAILURE OF GEAR TEETH.  ENGINE AND MAGS 50 HOURS SINCE OVERHAUL.
