DURING AIRCRAFT INSPECTION, FOUND THE CREW ESCAPE HATCH EXTERNAL HANDLE INNER ATTACH SURFACE AND HOUSING CORRODED.  NO DAMAGE LIMITS LISTED.  REPLACED HANDLE/HOUSING ASSY WITH A SERVICEABLE ASSY, P/N 601R33050-1, S/N 0419.
