## Discrepancy

LAX - AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED A LEFT HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FAILURE AFTER TAKEOFF.  EMERGENCY DECLARED RETURNED LAX WITHOUT INCIDENT.  AIRCRAFT REMOVED FROM SERVICE.  REPLACED LEFT PYLON ENGINE DRIVEN PUMP HYDRAULIC MODULE.  SYSTEM GROUND CHECK NORMAL OPERATION.
