BOS - FLIGHT CREW OBSERVED A FLAP ASYMMETRY EICAS MESSAGE.  QRH PROCEDURES FOLLOWED.  EMERGENCY DECLARED LANDED BOS WITHOUT INCIDENT.  INSPECTED FLAPS AND FOUND LEFT INBOARD TORQUE LIMITER EXTENDED.  SERVICED LEFT INBOARD TORQUE LIMITER.  SYSTEM GROUND CHECK NORMAL OPERATION.
