MIA - CREW REPORTED STANDBY ATTITUDE INDICATOR FAILED.  EMERGENCY DECLARED FLIGHT RETURNED MIA LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.  AIRCRAFT REMOVED FROM SERVICE.  REPLACED STANDBY ATTITUDE INDICATOR.  SYSTEM GROUND CHECK NORMAL OPERATION.
