## Discrepancy

PTY INFLIGHT MIA-UIO.  CREW REPORTED ELECTRICAL SPARKS IN FLIGHT DECK OVERHEAD PANEL.  EMERGENCY DECLARED FLIGHT DIVERTED PTY LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.  AIRCRAFT REMOVED FROM SERVICE.  REPLACED EXTERIOR LIGHTS CONTROL PANEL THAT HAD SHORTED.  SYSTEM GROUND CHECK NORMAL OPERATION.
