STI  - CREW REPORTED FORWARD CARGO DOOR OPEN LIGHT ILLUMINATED.  EMERGENCY DECLARED FLIGHT RETURNED STI LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. REALIGNED CONNECTOR D4306P AND SECURED AT FORWARD ARM OF FORWARD CARGO DOOR.  SYSTEM GROUND CHECK NORMAL OPERATION.
