JFK CREW REPORTED "TAT PROBE" EICAS MESSAGE FOLLOWED BY "EEC L FAIL" & "EEC R FAIL" EICAS MESSAGE.  EMERGENCY DECLARED FLIGHT RETURNED JFK LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. AIRCRAFT REMOVED FROM SERVICE.  REPLACED TOTAL AIR TEMPERATURE PROBE.  SYSTEM GROUND CHECKED NORMAL OPERATION CLOSED.
