MIA CREW REPORTED CONTROL WHEEL TRIM FAILED AFTER TAKEOFF.  EMERGENCY DECLARED FLIGHT RETURNED MIA LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.  AIRCRAFT REMOVED FROM SERVICE.  REPLACED CAPTAIN COLUMN SWITCH M1983.  SYSTEM GND CHECKED NORMAL OPERATION CLOSED.
