DFW INFLIGHT MCO - LAX.  CREW REPORTED STRONG ELEC SMELL THROUGHOUT ACFT.  FLIGHT DIVERTED DFW & LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.  ACFT REMOVED FROM SERVICE.  REPLACED LT CABIN RECIRCULATION FILTER.  SYS GND CHECKED NORMAL, OPERATION CLOSED.
