## Discrepancy

AUTOPILOT WOULD NOT ENGAGE IN CRUISE.  THE FLIGHT DIRECTOR WAS ON MEL & THE LMP STATUS WAS DOWNGRADED.  FLIGHT DIVERTED & LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.  ACFT REMOVED FROM SERVICE.  REPLACED SYS B FLIGHT CONTROL COMPUTER.  SYS GND CHECKED NORMAL OPERATION CLOSED.
