AIR INTERRUPT, EMER DECLARED. LANDING UNEVENTFUL & ACFT WAS NOT OVERWEIGHT.  FLAPS WOULD NOT EXTEND PAST 5, ALTERNATE EXTENSION NORMAL.  REPLACED LT FLAP POSITION TRANSMITTER IAW MM 27-55-01.  SYS CHECKED NORMAL.
