AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GNDED.  R2 SLIDE LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITH DOOR DISARMED.  REMOVED EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF DOOR LUBE FROM SENSORS.  ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK IAW AMM 25-66-11.
