AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GNDED.  SHUTDOWN INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT SYS.  SEAT 8E IS REPORTED SMOKING BY PAX.  REPLACED SMART MONITOR AT SEAT 8E IAW MFG 23-32-08.  ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK.
