AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED.  CREW REPORTED FUEL ODOR IN CABIN AFTER APU START.  MAINTENANCE R & R THE APU IAW MCM 4996-82 AND 0056.  OPS AND LEAK CHECKS NORMAL.
