STRONG ODOR OF OIL IN THE COCKPIT AND LESSER ODOR IN CABIN. CONFIRMED OIL LEAK ABOVE OIL TANK. REMOVED AND REPLACED AUXILIARY POWER UNIT ASSEMBLY IAW WORK CARD 49-98-83. OPERATONAL CHECK GOOD.  AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED.
