THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED.  WITH A/C POWER OFF THE AFT INTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS STAY ON.  REMOVED AND REPLACED BATTERY PAC PER MM 33-53-00.  PAC B5-27. OPS CHECK NORMAL.
