AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED.  R1 DOOR GIRT BAR IS DIFFICULT TO ARM AND DISARM.  CLEANED DEBRIS FROM GIRT BAR RETAINER CLIPS.  OPERATIONAL CHECK PER AMM 25-66-01 GOOD.
