AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED.  R1 DOOR EMERGENCY EVACUATION SLIDE RAFT COVER IS LOOSE AND CABLE IS OUT OF POSITION.  REATTACHED SLIDE COVER AND SECURED CABLE PER AMM 25-62-00.  OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD.
