AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED.  R1 DOOR EMERGENCY EVACUATION SLIDE Z FOLD WILL NOT LAY PROPERLY.  REMOVED AND REPLACED SLIDE ASSEMBLY PER AMM 25-62-00.  OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD.
