EMERGENCY DECLARED.   FLIGHT RETURNED TO DEPARTURE ACCOUNT TAIL STRIKE INDICATION ON TAKEOFF.   LANDING UNEVENTFUL.  REMOVED AND REPLACED HEADS UP GUIDANCE SYSTEM COMPUTER IAW AMM 34-36-01.  OPS CHECKED GOOD.  AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED.
