## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: SMOKE LAVATORY DETECTOR ALERT AND CONFIRMATION OF SMOKE, ISOLATED WATER HEATER TO STOP SMOKE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED WATER HEATER IN THE MID LAVATORY PER AMM 38-12-16 AND PERFORMED SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK.
