AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: UNCOMMANDED AUTOTHROTTLE DISCONNECT ON DESCENT.  REMOVED AND REPLACED MODE CONTROL PANEL IAW AMM 22-11-34. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
