AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED. FLIGHT ATTENDANTS REPORTED SEEING SMOKE COMING FROM FORWARD LAVATORY, SUSPECT PASSENGER SMOKING, BUT SMOKE DETECTOR DID NOT ACTIVATE. PERFORMED SMOKE DETECTION TEST PER AMM TASK 26-14-00-710. CHECKED GOOD.
