## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: FLIGHT DECK DOOR LATCH (DOOR KNOB) BROKEN. HAVE TO OPEN USING UNLOCK SWITCH. MAINTENANCE FOUND CENTER LATCH LOWER MECHANISM BROKEN. REPLACED LATCH MECHANISM AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK PER AMM 52-51-21.
