AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: MID CABIN LAVATORY SMOKE DETECTOR INDICATION AT CRUISE.  NO INDICATION OF SMOKE. MAINTENANCE ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE LAVATORY SMOKE DETECTION SYSTEM WITH NO FAULTS NOTED.
