## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: FLIGHT DECK DOOR UNABLE TO OPEN IN FLIGHT WITH LATCH, HAD TO OPEN WITH ELECTRIC DOOR SWITCH. REPLACED FLIGHT DECK DOOR LATCH MECHANISM AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK PER AMM 52-51-21.
