AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: ENROUTE THE LEFT FORWARD WINDOW "OVERHEAT" LIGHT ILLUMINATED THIRTY SECONDS LATER THE L1 OUTER PANE CRACKED. EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED INTO ORD. REMOVED AND REPLACED NUMBER 1 WINDOW.
