AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: MID LAVATORY DOOR LOCK DOES NOT UNLOCK FROM INSIDE TRAPPING USERS CONFIRMED BY FLIGHT ATTENDANTS. MAINTENANCE CLEANED AND LUBRICATED LOCK MECHANISM. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED.
