AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: DOOR 1L SLIDE DOES NOT STAY ARMED. MAINTENANCE FOUND GREASE ON THE PROXIMITY SENSOR, CLEANED SENSOR AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTOY OPERATIONAL CHECK WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
