AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: DURING INSPECTION DISCOVERED NEW SLIDE IS BAD; REJECTED THE NEW SLIDE ASSEMBLY FOR BEING BAD FROM STOCK. REINSTALLED ORIGINAL EMERGENCY ESCAPE SLIDE ASSEMBLY. OPERTIONAL CHECK GOOD. PER J/C 08L22125001.
