AIRCRAFT WAS IN BASE MAINTENANCE:  LEFT NO. 3 OVER-WING DOOR BACKUP BATTERY WILL NOT CHARGE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED LEFT NO 3 OVERWING DOOR BACK UP BATTERY, OP'S CHECK GOOD IAW B777-300 AMM 52-12-24.
