AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: SEAT ROW 36ABC EMERGENCY LIGHT INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE FOUND BROKEN WIRE UNDER CARPET AT SEATS 36ABC AND REPAIRED IT PER AWD 33-50-00. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED.
