AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: FIGHT DECK DOOR TOP LATCH DON'T UNLOCK. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE FLIGHT DECK DOOR LATCH MECHANISM AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK PER AMM 52-51-21.
