AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: COCKPIT DOOR COULD NOT BE OPENED BY FLIGHT CREW.  SUSPECT FAULTY DOOR LATCH. MAINTENANCE REPLACED COCKPIT DOOR LATCH IAW AMM 52-51-02.
