## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: WHILE ATTEMPTING TO OPEN COCKPIT FOR LAVE BREAK, THE UPPER AND LOWER STRIKE PLATE WOULD NOT RELEASE AND UNLOCK. THE MIDDLE STRIKE PLATE WORKS. MAINTENANCE REPLACED  COCKPIT DOOR LATCH MECHANISM IAW AMM 52-51-21.
