AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL IN COCKPIT AFTER ENGINE SHUTDOWN. CHECKED AND FOUND (SPCU)-STANDBY POWER CONTROL UNIT FAILED HAS INTERNAL SHORTED CIRCUIT. REMOVED AND REPLACED (SPCU)-STANDBY POWER CONTROL UNIT, PER AMM 24-34-11.
