AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: LAVATORY-D IS DIFFICULT TO OPEN AND CLOSE. VERIFIED FAULT DOOR BINDING WHEN OPENING.  CLEARED OBSTRUCTION ON LAVATORY-D DOOR AND FOUND LOCKING MECHANISM OPERATING AS NORMAL, PER AMM 25-40-14.
